LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS NO. 227 Office of the County Washington, Pa., September 24 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be ed to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivering by truck to the Washington County Airport, located in South Franklin Township, of six (6) all Steel Prefabricated "T" Hangars, - Type No. 2 - which Hangars will be erected as a multiple unit at the County Airport by other parties. I These "T" Hangars shall be manufactured by a manufacturer regulary engaged in ` Gated metal buildings end of the design the fabrication of standard prefabricated g as fabricated by the"United Steel Fabricators, Inc.," or an equivalent design thereto. I i Also, proposals will be received at the same time for the doing of the following items of work necessary to construct the foundation for the above hangars and requiring the ap- proximate quantities as follows: 690 Cu. Yds. of Class I Excavation 66 " " of Class II Excavation 40 " " of Class B Concrete 17,01 pounds of Re -enforcing Bars Bids to be received in the Office of the County Controller, Court House, Washington, Pennsylvania, until 11:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners on October 29., 1954. Motion carried. i Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $8.66 be made payable to William and Tillie Stanick, California, Pa., on property situate in East Pike Run. Township, described as 4 room house, J lot, Phillipsburg. This refund being made, due to the fact, that on August 34 1954, The First Federal Savings & Loan Company paid i the 1954 County Tax in the amount of $8.66, on the same date of August 31, 1954, William & Tillie Stanick also paid $8,66 for the 1954 County Tax, which created a duplicate payment. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for this refund in the i amount of 8.66, payable to William & Tillie Stanick. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of $22.95, be made payable to William Knish & George M. Ermacoff, on property situate in Canton Township, described as 17 acres surface, 1 room frame house, 3 room frame house and service i 7 station restaurant; this is the original assessment.- This refund being made due to the fact, that on July 30, 1954 the 1954 County Tax was paid by the original tax card in the amount of I a 34.92 paid at net. On July 28, 1954 by Tax Adjustment No. 1431 all structures were removed i from the assessment records leaving only 17 acres surface assessed at $1.,2000 making the new i tax at face $12.60. Being that the actual amount of tax due at net was $3.1.97 and the amount
