LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS THE FOREGOIIJG MINUTE READ A1,1D APPROVED: NO. 247 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa.., January 3., 1955 Board of County Commissioners in regular session., those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Mazza. The organization of the Board of County Commissioners, effected on the first Monday of January., 1952, continued in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of 1929, (County Code)., to -wit: Francis E. Pettit, Chairman of the Board, W. J. Lane, Secretary and the third member of the Board being John Mazza. First in the order of business was the confirmation of the appointment of Joseph Di Filippo., Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners for the year 1955, the foregoing appointment having been made the first Monday in January., 1952, for a four-year period. Second in the order of business was the confirmation of the appointment of P. J. Pavlak., Sealer of Weights and Measures for the year 1955, the foregoing appointment having been made on September 1_, 1954, for the unexpired portion of the Commissioners present term. Third in the order of business was the confirmation of the appointment of Michael A. Hanna., County Solicitor for the year 1955, the foregoing appointment -having been made on January 4, 1954, for the unexpired portion of the Commissioners present tem. Motion by Mr. Lane,, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Agnes Kostelich., be appointed as a Clerk in the Tax Claim Bureau., this action being effective January 3., 1955. Motion carried unanimously. i Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Eleanore M. Lutes, be appointed! as a Clerk in the Tax Assessment Office, this action being effective January 3., 1955. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Dora Centanni., be appointed as a Clerk in the Engineer's Office; this action being effective January 3., 1955. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that Beverly D. Must, be appointed as a Secretary for the Washington County Industrial Development Committee; this action to be effec-1, tive on January 10., 1955. Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the following named persons be j employed in the Office of the County Commissioners in the respective capacities set forth for the year 1955, effective January 3., 1955: G.
