Board of County Commissioners in special session for the purpose of opening and
and awarding of Fleet Insurance, bids were to be opned on February 7, 1955 but due to the lack
of a quorum were tabled until a quorum was present. Those present at the meeting being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Deputy Controller Marino.
In accordance with aforementioned advertisement, the following,bids were opened
and read for Fleet Insurance.

We respectfully submit the following quotation for Fleet Insurance for Public
Liability, Property Damage, Comprehensive A.C.V., Fire, Theft and Collision coverage as per
schedule of equipment attached hereto, to be written for a term of one (1) year effective at
noon, February 18, 1955.
Premium for Liability and Property Damage is:

To be placed with following company:

At this time., Mr. Marino left the meeting and Mr. Mazza entered.
Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Pettit., that Mildred Pacella., be appointed as
a Clerk in the Tax Claim Bureau; this action being retroactive to February 1., 1955.
Motion carried,
Motion by Mr. Lane., seconded by Mr. Pettit., that Joseph A. Edwards., be appointed
as a temporary Chain -man in the Engineers Office; this action being retroactive to January 31.,
1955.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr, Lane., seconded by Mr. Mazza., that the following Field Registration
Days be approved for the 1955 Primary Election.
Time: 1:00 pm. to 4:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
