Board of County Commissioners in special session, those present being Commi.ssionerm
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that Mildred Huhn, who resides at Rail-
road Street, Elco Borough, be appointed as Assessor of Elco Borough to fill the vacancy which
exists by the resignation of Jack Flint.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Lane, that MaX7 Maros, who resides at
North Bethlehem Township and mailing address is Box 374, Cokeburg, be appointed as Assessor of
North Bethlehem Township, to fill the vacancy which exists by the death of J. S. Gayman.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Board of County'Commissioners in special session for,the purpose of opening bids
for the furnishing and ddlivering to County Trucks, Plain Structural Steel as per Specifications
of the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the improvement of Millers Run Bridge No. 2-A,
in Cecil Township. Those present at the meeting being Commissioners Pettit, Mazza and Bookkeeper
Helen Falcon of the County Controllers' Office.
In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bid was opened
and read.
PROPOSAL
TOs THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
of Washington County, in the
State of Pennsylvania.
The undersigned hereby propose(s) to do all the work in and about the furnishing
and delivery to County Trucks of the Plain Structural Steel Items required for the improvement
of Millers Run Bridge No. 2-A, in Cecil Township,
The Plain Structural Steel shall be furnished in accordance with Specifications
of the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for Structural. Carbon Steel; F.D. Hwys, Form 409,
dated 1949; and to furnish all labor; materials and appliances required for the doing of all the
work complete, for and in consideration of compensation according to the following schedule of
prices.
