LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS 33"7 n u E THE FORBOOING MINUTE READ LAID APPROVEDs June Q,$1 55ATTES Chief Clerk NO. 276 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., June 2, 1955 Board of County Commissioners in special session, those present being Condesioners Pettit and Mazza. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following Resolution of the Board of County Commi.asioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a Mote for One Hundred Thousand ($1001,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and adopted by the said Board, to -wit: "MMS., It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars for the Purpose'of meeting current expenses for the year 1955, and to be payable out of takes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1955; now, therefore, BE IT RESCILV0 by the Board of County Cawdesioners of the said County of Washing- ton, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a tempo- rary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 1955, and so much of said taxes as may be necessaiy to re- pay said loan, with interest is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 8, 1955s, with interest from date of said note at the rate of one (1) per cent, per annum, free of all taxes levied by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: PEOPLES FIRES NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, WASHINOTON, PA .............. .......... $1OO,000.00" Motion carried. K. 4ohnson. $100.00
