Washington, Pa., dune 29, 1955
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners
Pettit and Lane.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Resolution Number 279 provided
for the Airport issue and sale of the $1.30,000.00 bond issue is hereby amended in that Section
8 of the said Resolution is hereby deleted, and that the money from the said bond issue be deposit-
ed in the General Fund of the County thus eleminating the necessity for a Sinking Fund.. This
motion is designed to be retroactive to the date of the original passed resolution dated June
17, 1955.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in special session, those present being Commissioners
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authorized
to advertise for bids for the removal of dirt and rock for the extension of the runway at the
County Airport; sudh bids to be received by the County Controller at his Office in the Court
House until 32:30 a.m., July 21, 1955 D.S.T., and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of
the County Commissioners.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meetllw

Days be approved for the 1955 General Election to be held on November 8, 1955.
