Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the bids be tabled until a study
is made by Chief Engineer Crumrine.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting

Board of County Commissioners in regular session those present being Coopmissioners
Pettit, Lane and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authorised
to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivery of Tag Assessment Supplies for the year
1956s to be used by the Washington County Tag Assessment Office, said bids to be received in the
Office of the County Controller, Court House, Washington, Pa., until 11:30 a.m., D.S.T., and
opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners on August 24, 1955.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authorized
to advertise for bids for the printing and delivery of election supplies, necessary ballots and
ballot boxes for the Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 8, 1955; said bids to be
received in the Office of the County Controller, Court House, Washington, Pa., until 11:00 D.S.T.,
and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners on August 12, 1955e
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the County Controller be authorized
to advertise for bids for the furnishing and delivery of a 1955 Ford Station Wagon, with Heater,
Defroster and Undercoated, color exceptions are red., yellow or black. Car to be used in the
Sheriff's Office, trade in allowance to be figured on a 1951 Dodge 2 Door Sedan, said car may be
inspected at the County Garage. Bids to be received until 11:30 a.m., D.S.T., in the Office of
the County Controller, Court House, Washington, Pa.s and opened immaediately thereafter in the
Office of the County Commissioners on August 12, 1955, A certified check in the amount of 200e00
must accompany proposal of each bidder and the right is reserved to reject any or all btids.

Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Aldine Deflinna, who resides in
Dunlevy Borough and mailing address being Box A, Dunlevy., Pa., be appointed as Assessor of
Dunlevy Borough, to fill the vacancy which exists by the resignation of Frank Clement*
Motion Carried.
