Board of County Commissioners in special session, those present being Commissioners
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the following polling place be
changed as follows, due to the fact that the Everett Campbell building is not available.
Cecil Township - First Precinct
From: Everett Campbell Building
To: Central Baptist Church, Hendersonville
Rental: 120.00 (No Change)
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the Board of the Assessment and
Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare refund voucher in the amount of $76.72, in favor
of Robert Lacock, R. D, #1, Amity, Pa,, Amwell Township. This amount covers a duplicate payment
on a 12 story frame house and barn assessed at $3,500 and 229.647 acres of surface assessed at
$5,O00 making a total assessment of $8,500, When the records were changed to show one-half (2)
interest for Robert Lacock and one-half (2) interest for Maynard Lacocks the total assessment of
8,500 was carried out for each, which doubled the total assessment on the buildings and surface*
Mr, Lacock paid both tax cards (receipts on file in the Assessment Office) thus creating a dup-
licate payment for the year of 1955. Therefore the Board for thll Assessment and Revision of Taxes
is hereby authorized to prepare said voucher in the amount of $76.72 in favor of Robert Lacock,
R. D. ,#1, Amity, Pa.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$5.92 be made payable to Mr. James W. Heffner, Bentleyville, Pa,, said refund to cover an Article
of Agreement which was non -interest -bearing, but inadvertency filed and the taxes for the years
1954 and 1955 were paid.
Total valuation paid on for 1954 was $1,000.00 tax being $4.00 - .4o penalty,
date paid January 17, 1955.
Total valuation paid on for 1955 was $400.Ob tax being $1.06 - .08 discount,
date paid August 1, 1955.
Therefore, the Personal Property Department of the Board of the Assessment and
Revision of Taxes, is hereby authorized to prepare said voucher in the amount of $5.92.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$5.17,-be made payable to Fidelity Trust Company, Co -Trustee, Account of Alex McLean, said refund
to cover over -payment of personal property tax for the year 1955 on Lone Star Gas Comparr, Common*
Total valuation paid on was $4,860.00 tax at face $19.44 net $18.47,
Corrected valuation being $3,500.00 tax at face $l -00 net $13.30,
Total to be refunded $5,17,
Therefore, the Personal Property Department of the Board of the Assessment and
Revision of Taxes, is hereby authorized to prepare said voucher in the amount of $5.17.

Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that Geno Bianchi, Clerk in the Tax
aaim Bureau be transfered to the County Garage as Superintendent, this action being retroactive
