BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
FRANCIS E. PETTIT, W. J. LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Joseph Eaccone be appointed as a
temporary employee of the Field Crew in the Talc Assessment Office; this action being effective
October 1, 1955,
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that John Smith, be appointed as a
temporary employee of the Tax Claim Bureau, this action being effective October 1, 1955.-
Motion carried.
There being no further business to core before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following polling place be
.changed as follows, due to the fact that the barber shop at 58 North Franklin Street, Washington,
Pa., is not available.

Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Board for the Assessment and
Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare vouchers for refund of occupation tax in the amount
of ninety-one cents ($.91) paid at discount, in favor of Henry W. Conkle, West Brownsville, Pa.,
and the same amount of ($.91) in favor of Margaret P. Conkle, West Brownsville, Pa,, receipts
for which are on file in the Office of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes*
This refund covers a duplication of per capita tax charged In the Occupation
Listing of Centerville Borough wbile the charge was also entered in the Real Estate Listing with
their property in the same amount, all taxes were paid. Therefore, the Board for the Assessment
and Revision of Taxes, is authorized to prepare said refund voucher.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that George M. Coulter, who resides
at Vestaburg, Pa., East Bethlehem Township., be appointed as Assessor of East Bethlehem Township,
to fill the vacancy which exists by the resignation. of William H. Atcheson.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.
