Board of County Commissioners met in special session to consider matters pertaining to
the County Real Estate Department with the following members present: Commissioners Pettit and
Mazza.
Motion by Mar. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Mazza, that the deeds be executed for the following
described properties to the following described persons for the sum or price set opposite the same
under and by virtue of the action of this Board taken November 16, 1955, as recorded in Minute No.
230 and Minute No. 267, the said deeds to be delivered to the purchasers named therein upon payment
of the consideration recorded therein, together with the costs of the proceedings and that Francis
E. Pettit be and he is hereby authorized to execute the said deeds as and for the County of Wash-
ington and is hereby constituted and appointed attorney in fact to acknowledge the said deeds before
any person is authorized to take such acknowledgements:

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Commissioners
Pettit and Mazza.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount of
15.53 be made payable to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County, on property
assessed in the name of Joseph Silvagnia, situate in the City of Monongahela, Second Ward and
described as 2 story frame house, lot 412 Second Street. The reason for this refund is a duplicate
payment was created when The First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County paid the
amount of 15.53 on August 29, 1955, the owner Joseph Silvagnia had on August 1, 1955 paid the
amount of 14-76 on said property for the 1955 County Tax. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau, is
authorized to prepare said refund voucher for this duplicate payment in the amount of $15.53,
made payable to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County, Waynesburg, Pa.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that a refund voucher in the amount of
$10*45 be made payable to First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County, on property
assessed in the name of Lloyd D. and Betty Ann Smith, situate in Centerville Borough, described
as 4 room house, Lot 103 Richeyville Plan DB 758-311. The reason for this refund is a duplicate
