LANE, JOHN MAZZA, COMMISSIONERS payment was created when the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Greene County paid the amount of $10.45 on August 26, 1955 and the amount of $9.93 was paid on August 1, 1955 by William and Betty Nelson on said property assessed in the name of Lloyd D. & Betty Ann Smith for the 1955 County Tax. Therefore, The Tax Claim Bureau, is authorized to prepare said refund voucher for this duplicate payment in the amount of 10.45, made payable to First Federal Savings and Loan _Association of Greene County, Waynesburg, Pa. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. `�La.zza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following Resolution in regard to the sale of properties for unpaid taxes by the Washington County Tax Claim Bureau, be adopted: RESOLUTION NO. DAME OF PURCHASER DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY AMOU11T SOLD FOR 427 Alberta and Willard Being Vacant Lot #59, Block 2, McKinney. situate in Pleasant View, South Strabane Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, formerly owned by Martha Anderson. $125.00 Motion carried. Motion by°jr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorized to use the following Delinquent Tax Exoneration made by the County Commissioners in the various Districts of Washington County for the year 1954. Motion by Mr. Mazza, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the following Agreement between the I Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Highways and the County of Washington be adopted. I AGREEMENT j THIS AGREEMENT,, made and entered into this 30th day of November, 1955. A.D. by and between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Highways, hereinafter called the Commonwealth, and the County of Washington, by its County Commissioners, hereinafter called the County, WIT N E S SETH: WHEREAS, The Commonwealth ilt making, or is about to make an improvement on Legislative Route 118, Section 1W, between Stations 704+25 and 724+48, and on Legislative Route 268, Section 2W, between Stations 724+48 and 743+90, in Speers Borough, Washington County, which will require the taking of additional property for right-of-way purposes, and the payment of damages to the owners thereof; and WHEREAS, the County, by resolution duly adopted, has refused to assume responsibility fo any of the property damages involved in the improvement, but desires to make a contribution to sai4 damages in order to assist in the construction of the highway.
