LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS a member of the Board of the Soil Conservation Program for the length of his term in Office. Notion carried. The newly appointed Directors are to be notified of the date and place of future meetings by letter. Representatives excused from the meeting. Minute Kos. 7, 81 9, 10, 11, 12 imd 13 read and approved. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting APPROVED: March 1, 1948 ATTEST: NO. 15 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., Februarys 9, 191+5 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit and Lane; Mr. Lowstuter having notice of the meeting but being absent. County Controller Harvey Stuart was called into the meeting for the purpose of opening bids as per the advertisement of the County Controller for Two (2) Statioh'Wagons of the latest models of a Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth or Dodge make. In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bid was opened and read in the presence of the County Commissioners: Scott Motor Company $3,905.00 no extra equipment Washington, Pa. Approximate Deliver 1 in the month of February 1 in the month of March Certified check in the sum of $250.00 is herewith enclosed. Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Stuart, that the bid received from the Scott Motor Company►, Washington, Pa., be rejected. Motion carried. County Controller Stuart excused from the meeting, and regular order of business of Board of County Commissioners in regular session proceeded with. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorised to readvertise for Bids on furnishing and delivering Two (2) Station Wagons of the latest models of a Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth, Dodge, deep, or az*r other similar makes, and specifying the immediate delivery date; said Bids to be received until llsOO a.m., EST., Tuesday, February 21,, 1948, and opened immediately thereafter in the Office of the County Commissioners. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Lucian Spriggs be appointed as Court House Electrician for the year 1948, effective February 9, 194.8, covering the period• from that date to the first Monday in January, 1949, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice. Motion carried. 0 Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Chief Clerk be authorized to advertise a Public Sale of the following truck belonging to Washington County, in the Public
