Meeting Room of the Court House on February 25, 1948, at ntoo a.m.:
1 - 1940 Two -Ton Dump Truck with Cab over Engine
The above truck may be inspected at any time prior to the sale by inquiring at the Washington
County Garage between the hours of 8sOO a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; terms of sale-to.be 25% at the time
the track is sold to the highest bidder, the balance upon delivery of certificate of title
therefor; and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and to continue the sale from
time to time, if necessary.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit
and Lane; Mr. Lowstuter having notice of the meeting but being absent.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that E. M. Lheureau, Jr., be appointed
Director of Tax Claim Bureau of Washington County, effective February 2, 1948, and shall give
Fidelity Bond to the Commonwealth in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars, ($10,000.00).
Motion unanimously carried.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Ann Schaffer be appointed Court
House Cleaner, effective February 16, 1948, and covering the period from that date to the
first Monday in January, 1949, with proviso that she may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

and Lane; Mr. Lowstuter having notice of the meeting but being absent.
Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that W. M. Filby be appointed as a
of the Bridge Crew in the Engineering and Bridge Department, effective February 16, 1948, and
covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1949.
Motion carried.,
