LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS _ NO. 21 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 26, 1948 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit Lane and Lowstuter. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that Novella Henderson be appointed Court House Cleaner, retroactive to January 261, 190, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1949, with proviso that she may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice. Notion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Albert Tommie be appointed Clerk in Tax Claim Bureau, effective March 1, 1948, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1949, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Charles Knestrick be appointed Foreman in the Engineering and Bridge Department, effective March 1, 1948, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 191+9, with proviso that he may be dis- missed upon thirty days' notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that William Bert be appointed a member of the Bridge Crew in.the Engineering and Bridge Department, effective March 1, 1948, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1949, with proviso that he may be dismissed upon thirty days' notice. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Chief Clerk be authorised to j advertise a Public Hale of the following truck belonging to Washington County, in the Public Meeting Room of the Court House on March 11, 1948, at 11:00 a.m., 1 - 1940 Two -ion Dump Truck with Cab over Engine The above truck may be inspected at any time prior to the sale by inquiring at the Washington County Garage between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and /+:00 p.m.; terms of sale to be 25% at the tip the truck is sold to the highest bidder, the balance upon delivery of certificate of title therefor; and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and to continue the sale from time to time, if necessary.
