LOWST,UTER, COMMISSIONERS 43 1 0 DIONOxUAH-A YVBLISHIHO CO. Taxes be authorised to correct an assessment in Fallowfield Township assessed in the same of Elizabeth F. Keating, Charleroi, Pa., for the year 1945. This assessment eras corrected in 1946 by adjustment cumbers 1121 and 1122 which changed it from $650 to $330 because of an error in valuation at which time the 1945 record should have been corrected; and that the Tax Assess- ment Office be authorised to correct the assessment record and the Treasurer's Tax Lien Docket be corrected accordingly, the solicitors for the respective district to be notified in order that they, likewise, may correct the outstanding lien for their respective district. Notion carried, with notation of the foregoing action to be made on the Minutes of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes. Notion duly made and seconded that the Washington County Commissioners purchase Six Hired (600) Election Officers, Manuals at the price of -Three Hundred Thirty One ($331.00) Dollars from the William G. Johnston Company, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Notion carried. The Board instructs the Chief Clerk to advertise for an estimate for repairing the section of the Court House Roof around the Donn:. Notion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to advertise for furnishing and delivering approximately 13,000 beard feet of Pressure Treated Lumber for the repairing and maintenance of various Bridges in Washington County, in accordance with specifications. adjourned, Notion carried. Pettit and Lane. Mr. Lowstuter having notice of the meeting but being absent. Motion duly made and seconded that the County pay to L. W. Saukville and Rapp& Belle Sackville the suns of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars for the damages to their property in South Strabane Township resulting from the relocation and reconstruction of Legislative Route #113, also known as U. W. Route #40. Notion carried. Notion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the County Controller be authorised to advertise for use in the Tax Claim Bureau and the County Treasurer's Office, one not to'be used in the County Treasurer's Office and two sets to be used in the 'fax Claim Bureau, the Pestindex all metal flat book System or other similar type consisting of three set-ups of four cabinets each, assessible in front and back, each set having sufficient books to hold Six
