return the certified check to the unsuccessful bidder,

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit
and Lane. Mr. Lowstuter having notice of the meeting but being absent.
After motion duly made and seeoaded, assigned as Truck Drivers for Washington
County were John Molinaro and Louis Tiano, to work under the jurisdiction of the Engineering
and Bridge Department,
Motion envied.
Motion by W. Lane, seconded by Mir. Pettit, that George Alewas be assignod to the
Engineering and Hridge Department as a Commen Laborer on the Bridge Crew; the effective date
being Juuly 11, 1948.
Notion carried.
The Board approved the estimate for replacing tile Roof can West Wing cirolb of Curt
House, with standing Seam Copper, Labor and Material for the sun of Twenty-four Huwidred Twenty-
five ($2425.00) Dollars submitted by G. P. Book, Tr.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in special session, those present being Messrs. Pettit
and Lane. Mr. Lowstuter having notice of the meeting but being absent.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to advertise
for bids for the repair and restoration of Two Hundred (200) Volumes, more or less, of old
Record Books now on file in the Office of the Prothonotary and the Sheriff's Office, Court
House, Washington County, Pennsylvania, according to specifications.
Motion carried.
