LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 55 L' Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Protos J. Pavlak and Guy A. Sacco, Inspectors of heights and Measures, attend the "School of Instruction", the annual conference for Inspectors held at the Lyeonming Motel, Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on September 22, 23, 24 and 25th of the year 1948. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Washington County Commissioners purchase the Electric Keyboard Graphotype complete, Model #6343, at the price of $1056.30 from the Addressograph Sales Agency, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; this machine to be placed is the Office of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes. Motion carried. Minute Nos. 52, 539 54, 559 56, 57 and 58 read and approved. . There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING 1103M READ AND APPROMs September 24, 1945 ATTEST: Chief Clerk Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August ll, 1948 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the notion in Minute No. 56 in regard to Board Rates for the children in the Juvenile Detention Home be declared null and void; and upon consideration of the County Commissioners, it was declared that the Board Rate be fixed at $1.25 per child, regardless of age. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Service Contract for the Checking Machine presented by the TODD COMPANY, be approved for a period of one year at the rate of $21.50. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the appropriation of the Historical and Civic Associations be increased from Eight Hundred (W.00) Dollars to Eight Hundred Seventy-five ($875.00) Dollars. Motion carried. Correspondence read from Carl J. Jacobson., Construction Engineer, Sharpaburg, Penn- sylvania.. relative to estimated work involving the rehabilitation of the Dosora-Webeter Bridge. The services to be rendered be charged at the rate of Six ($6.00) Dollars per lineal foot of the Bridge. Motion was duly made and seconded that the Commissioners of Washington County meet with the Commissioners of Westmoreland County and Mr. Jacobsen to discuss the project on a date suitable to the Officials of both Counties. Notion carried.
