BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the County of Washington, by its County Commissioners, enter
into an agreement with the Department of Highways, providing that the Depart-
ment of Highways will assume responsibility for the property damages in
connection with the proposed improvement; and providing further that the
C ounty will dontrubute the sum of Twenty Five Hundred ($2500.00) Dollars
toward the cost of said property damages involved in said improvement.
The resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Washington
County, on November 22, 1946, wherein the County obligated itself to assume
responsibility for all of the damages arising from said improvement, is
hereby repealed.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that John Me4rroll, Bridge Inspector for the Engin-
Bering and Bridge Department of Washington County, be dismissed from his duties, effective
this date, August 2% 1948.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to advertise
for bids for the printing and delivery of the necessary ballots and election supplies to the
Office of the County Commissioners, required for the conduct of the General Election to be
held Tuesday, November 2, 1948.
Lotion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting
adjourned.

and Lowstuter. Mr. Lane having notice of the meeting but being absent.
Motion duly made and seconded that the following polling places be designated as
follows; petitions for said changes having been duly presented to the Board prior to ten days
before the Election and notices of the contemplated changes posted as required by law:
