LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS For printing, binding and delivering any re -run of a ballot of any election district because of error on,the part of any county employee: Minimum charge per district for re -run of 100 ballots or less .... $ 7.50 Charge per 100 re -run ballots for same district in addition to minimum charge .................••............................. 1.25 A certified check in the amount of $500.00 is enclosed herewith. Motion duly made and seconded that the joint bid of Monongahela Publishing Company and Ward Printing Company for printing and delivering ballots be approved and accepted; it being the only bid received. Motion carried. Also, in accordance therewith, the following bid for election supplies, being the only one received, was opened and read: WILLIAM G. JOHNSTON COMPANY P. 0. Box 6759 Pittsburgh 12, Pa. In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller, inviting proposals for the furnishing and delivering to the Office of the County Commissioners supplies to include talky sheets, return sheets, envelopes, numbered lists of voters, voter's certificates, etc., required for use of the Election Officers at the General Election to be held November 2, 1948, having examined the attached specifications and understanding the same, I (or We) propose to furnish these supplies in accordance therewith, for the sum of �i c ;. A certified check in the amount of $100.00 is enclosed herewith. Motion duly made and seconded that the bid of William G. Johnston Company for elec- tion supplies be accepted and approved. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the proposal of T. M. Bedillion, R. D.#4, Wash- ington, Pa., for delivering ballot boxed and election supplies to the various Judges of Elections for the sum of $375.00 be approved and accepted, and that the joint bid of Steven A. Smith and Harry D. Brock, R. D. #1, Canonsburg, Pa., be rejected, the bid being $480.00. Motion carried with the County Controller instructed to return the $50.00 check to the unsuccessful bidder. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned.
