Board of County Commissioner in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit
and Lowstuter. {

Motion duly made and seconded that the Polling Place in the Seventh Precinct, Cecil
Township be designated as the Muse Mission, petition for the said change having been duly pre• k
i sented to the Board ten (10) days before election and notices of contemplated change posted as
requested by law and that the rent be set at $20.00.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Polling Place in North Franklin Township,
Second Precinct, be designated as a Room is Lincoln Hill School, petition for the said change
having been duly presented to the Board prior to ten days before election and notices of con-
templated change posted as requested by law.
Motion carried.
= Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to advertise
for bids for furnishing and delivering one 1948 Two -door Standard Dodge Sedan with heater and
defroster. Car to be delivered immediately and bids to be opened November 5, 1948, at 11s00
a.m.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized and empowered
to accept payment at face of 1942 to 1947 County Taxes inclusive, levied and assessed in the
Borough of Charleroi, in the name of Greek Catholic Church Parsonage. This action is taken in
;concurrence with similar action taken by the Borough of Charleroi and the School District of I
Charleroi.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau be authorized to abate the

penalty and interest of $10.97 on the 1925 County Tax of Charles Lightholder, in care of Mrs.
Mattie Woods and described as house and lot, 220 Elm Street, Canonsburg Third Ward.

Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes
!be authorized to prepare refund vouchers in favor of Russell and Anna A. Cappelli, 219 E.
'College St., Canonsburg, Pa., in the amount of $23.56, covering 1948 County Tax, paid at disc
Ion house and lots assessed at $3200, in the 2nd Ward of Canonsburg, the said County Tax having
been paid in the name of Russell and Anna A. Cappellis by their agent, George M. Challener,

,whereas, the property in question was sold to Fames and Mary Hotchkiss who assumed the responsi-
r jbility for, and paid the 1948 County Tax on the said property under date of August 24s 19489

in the name of the former owners. $
