Pa., December 17, 1948 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: WHEREAS, it appears from an examination of the records in the Recorder's Office sf Washington County, Pennsylvania, that JOHN J. MAROS was the owner of two lots of ground situate in Canton Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, known and designated as Lots No. 6 and 7, Block 1/0, in the West End Plan of Lots appearing of record in Plan Book 3, pages 52.and 53, bounded on the North by Buena Vista Street, on the South by Gordon Alley, on the East by Lot No. 5, and on the West by Lot No. 8, under and by virtue of a deed of J. L. Booher, et ux, et al, dated February 34, 1919, and recorded in Deed Book 464, page 233, and WHEREAS, said lots of ground were assessed for tax purposes in said Canton Township under the and three name of J. J. lots, Nos. 15, MANAS but were inadvertently and incorrectly described as three houses 16 and 17, Gordon Plan, Buena Vista Street, the Nos. 15, 16 and 17, referring to the house numbers of the buildings erected on said Lots Nos. 6 and 7, and WHEREAS, said lots were sold at Treasurer's Tax Sale on April 3, 1%4, to GEORGE L. LENK and the Treasurerts deed delivered pursuant thereto contained the same description of said lots as appears in the Tax Assessment Books, and WHEREAS, the purchaser has requested a deed of confirmation from the Treasurer referring to the correct description of said lots of ground and for this purpose it is necessary to authorise and approve the entry of a notation in the Tax Assessment Books of Canton Town- ship under the name of J. J. Manas, referring to the correct description of said two lots of ground. NOW inwtzf iRE, after a consideration of the foregoing matters it is hereby resolved that a notation be entered in the Tax Assessment Books for Canton Township under the name of J. J. NANAS, for the years 1934.to 19", for show the correct description of the real estate owned by said person to be two Lots, Nos. 6 and 7, Block 1/0, in the West End Plan, Plan Book 3, pages 52 and 53, instead of three houses and three lots, Nos. 15, 16 and 17,. Gordon Plan, Buena Vista Street -as aforesaid. Notion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to approve the following Delinquent Tax Exoneration made by the County Commissioners in the various Districts of Washington County for the year 1947: General Fund Real Estate ......................$ 698.31 Occupation .......................26v937.,10 Personal Property .t*3 # 28,f165.99 Motion carried.
