LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS No. 86 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., December 27, 1948 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Correspondence read which was received from the East Bethlehem Township Commi- ssioners requesting the replacement of the Bridge over the Ten Mile Creek in the Clarksville area; the said bridge being washed out in 1941.,. .After a thorough discussion, the Commissioners decided to request a Joint Meeting with the Greene County Commissioners in the near future for the purpose of making plans to abandon the said Bridge; due to the enormous cost of replacing the Bridge and there, also, being nearby another bridge which satisfactorily takes care of traffic in that area. Motion duly wade and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau and the County Treasurer be authorized to abate the penalties and interest on 1941 to 1947 inclusive, County Taxes amounting to $2.23, on the property of Dominick Isabella, who is assessed in Centerville Borough with one-half (+) of Lot 55 and all of Lot 56. This action is taken in conjunction with similar action taken by the Centerville School District and the Centerville Borough Council. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau and the County Treasurer be authorized to abate the penalties and interest on 1935 to 1948 inclusive, County Taxes amounting to $2.37, on the property of James Roberts, who is assessed in East Pike Run Township with one-half (+) of Lot #55 situate in Dawson Heights. This action is taken in conjunction with similar action taken by the East Pike Run Township School District and the East Pike Rum Township Road Board. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau and the County Treasurer be authorized to abate the penalty and interest on 1932 County Tax amounting to $31.93, on the property of W. P. Landman, who is assessed in Centerville Borough with 90 Acres surface, adjacent to the property of Reason Woodfill Estate on Route #88. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau and the County Treasurer be authorized to abate the interest on 1929, 1930 and 1931 County Taxes amounting to $30.00, on the property of James M. Gossett, who is assessed in East Bethlehem Township with Lot & Frame House on Walnut Street, forth by Cherry Alley, South by Walnut Street, East by national Deposit Bank Property and West by W. J. Hawkins. This action is taken in conjunction with similar action taken by the East Bethlehem Township School District and the East Bethlehem Board of Commissioners. Motion carried.
