NO. 89 1 9 A. 9 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January 7, 1949 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being )Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. The organization of the Board of County Commissioners, effected on the first Monday of January, 1948, continued in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of 1929, (County Code), to -wit: Francis E. Pettit, Chairman of the Board, W. J. Lane, secretary and the third member of the Board being Henry J. Lowstuter. First in the order of business was the confirmation of the appointment of John Bevec, Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners, Daivd H. Weiner, County Solicitor, and John L. Harris, Sealer of Weights and Measures for the year 1949, each of the foregoing appointments haveing been made the first Monday in January, 1948, for a four-year period. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the following named persons be employed in the Office of the County Commissioners in the respective capacities set forth for the year 1949, retroactive to January 3, 1949, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 19501, with the proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days notice: Genevieve Lugenski, Secretary to the Board Joseph A. DiFilippo, Voucher Clerk ' Alex Debreezeni, Jr., Purchasing Agent Olga C. Fernandez, Secretary to Purchasing Agent Motion carried. )Notion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the following named persons be employed in the Tax Claim Bureau in the respective capacities set forth for the year 1949, retroactive to January 3, 1949, and covering the -period from that date to the first Monday, in January, 1950, with the proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days notice: E. Lheureau, Jr., Director of Tax Claim Bureau Harry Barnickel, Rent Collector Rosella Tumieki, Clerk Lillian Elonzae, Clerk Amor Halliburton, Supervisor John Packrall, Jr., Property Manager Michael A. Hanna, Law Clerk Albert Tomsic, Clerk Adeline Wright, Clerk Margaret Pasula, Clerk Sheila Wright, Clerk Ann Rusbasan, Clerk William H. Robinson, Assistant Legal Advisor Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that Ulu Henry be employed as Matron and Violet French as Assistant Matron at the Juvenile Detention Home, in the respective capacities set forth for the year 1949, retroactive to January 3, 1949, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1950, with the proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days notice: Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the following named persons be employed in the Engineering and Bridge Department, in the respective capacities set forth for the year 1949, retroactive to dhnuary 3, 1949, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1950, with the proviso that each may be dismissed upon thirty days notice: H. B. Crumrine, Engineer Dushan J. Nicksick, Draftsman J. Harold Chapman, Draftsman Harry R. Miller, Assistant Surveyor Paul J. Pettit, Supt. of Bridge Dept. Herschel C.
