LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 115 for the fiscal year 1949 have been prepared and are available for public inspection in the Office of the Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pennsylvania, said budgets to be finally adopted on Friday.. March 18, 1949. FRANCIS E. PETTIT W. J. LAND HENRY J. LOWSTUTER ATTEST: John Bevee, Chief Clerk Motion unanimously carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the emergency repairs to the North ling Roof of the Court House be completed and the work to be performed by G. P. Beck. Motion carried. Chief Clerk ***** NN N** Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 24, 1949 Board of County Commissioners in session with Commissioners Pettit and Lane Motion duly made and seconded that Pete Celani, Plasterer, and Harry Gordon, Carpenter, be ordered a leave of absence without pay until further notice; this action to be effective March 1, 1949. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Wade Carson and Jake Reihner be hired in the Bridge Department as Semi -Skilled Laborers, effective March 1, 1949. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Goldie Vitteck be hired as a Cleaning Woman, effective March 1, 1949, and covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1950s with the proviso that she may be dismissed upon thirty days notice.
