LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 3SONGNG H£ lY Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: WHEREAS, it appears from an examination of the records in the Recorder's Office of Washington County, Pennsylvania, that T. 0. SULLIVAN was the owner of two lots of ground situate in the Village of Hickory, Nomt Pleasant Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, known and designated as Lots Nos. 7 and 8, in the REV. CHAS. STUNKARD Plan of Lots, appearing of record in Plan Book Volume 3, pages 170 bounded by the Sprowl's Road on the South, by an alley on the West, by an alley on the North, and by Lot No. 9 of the REV. CHAS. STUNKARD Plan of Lots on the East, under and by virtue of a deed of CHAS. STUNKARD, et ux, dated July 3, 1915, and recorded in Deed Book 501, pages 228 and 22% and WHEREAS, said lots of ground were assessed for tax purposes in said Yount Pleasant Township under the name of T. 0. SULLIVAN HEIRS but were inadvertently and incorrectly described as Lots Nos. 6 and 7, and WHEREAS, said lots were sold at Treasurer's Tax Sale on April 3, 1946, to M. J. O'TOOLE and the Treasurer's deed delivered pursuant thereto contained the same description of said lots as appears in the Tax Assessment Books, and I WHEREAS, the purchaser has requested a deed of confirmation from the Treasurer referring to the correct description of said lots of ground and for this purpose it is necessary to authorise and approve the entry of a notation in the Tax Assessment Books of Yount Pleasant under the name of T. 0. SULLIVAN-HEIRS, referring to the correct description of said lots of ground. i NOW THEREFORE, after a consideration of the foregoing matters it I is hereby resolved that a notation be entered in the Tax Assessment Books for Yount Pleasant Township, Washington County, under the name of T. 0. SULLIVAN HEIRS., for the ears 1931 to 19 7 and the name of MARCUS O'TOOLE for the years1948 and 1949, to show the correct description of the real estate owned by said person to be two Lots Nos. 7 and 8, in the REV. CHAS. STUNKARD Plan of Lots, Plan Book Volume 3, pages 170, instead of two Lots Nos. 6 and 7, REV. CHAS. STUNKARD Plan of Lots as aforesaid. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: May 13, 4 19 9 ATTEST: Chief Clerk I dFiHFiHE9EAE'iE'�E'IE NO. 101 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 4, 1949 With County Controller Stuart present and Commissioners Pettit and Lane, the following action was taken relative to the Contract entered into by the County and Co Edwin Hultman Company and the Monongahela Publishing Company on JV2y 19, 1%8, for the repairing and rebuilding of dockets in the Sheriff's Office and the Prothonotary's Office: Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mir. Pettit, that if the Monongahela Publishing 1 Company and the C. Edwin Hultman Company complete their work this year according to specifica- tions on the balance of the dockets as contracted for, it is hereby agreed that each shall be paid the reminder of the umpaid balance of the contract in fun immediately m o: completion of the work. Notion carried, with Controller Stuart giving approval to said action and being excused from the meeting. Edwin Hultman Company for the repairing of dockets dated the bth day of August, 1948, at the rate of $81.50 per volume, be amended to include the following dockets in the Prothonotary t s tiff ices Ejectment and Miscellaneous Indexs M (a-j) R (a-z) W (a-j) M (k-z) S (a-j) W (k-z) I NO (a-z) S (k-z) UV (a-z) PQ (a-z) T (a-z) BYE (a-z) Motion carried. The Commissioners of Washington County sitting as the Registration Commission adopted the following Motions Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that the Registrations Office be + opened from 7 P.M. to 10 P.M., Friday, March 11, 1949, for the purpose of taking now Registra- I I tions and all other work incidental to that Offlee. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the ++! meeting adjourned. Pettit and Lane. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that E. D. Haggerty of Millsboro, E� I Pa., be appointed to the Washington County Housing Authority taking the place of Frank Sabolsky E whose term expired January 7, 1949. The term of Mr. Haggerty to be from January 7, 1949, to January 7, 1954. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned.
