MINUTE BOOK 113 BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA FRANCIs E. PETTIT, W. J. LANE, HENRY J. LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS of Twilight Borough due to the fact that the property involved was properly redsood from Washington County. 1 Motion carried. The following Motion was adopted with the Board of Coissioners sitting as the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes Commission. Motion duly made and seconded that Helen Macalak be employed as a Clerk in the Office of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes for a period of thirty days; this appointment effective March 25, 1949, to April 25, 1949. Motion carried, with the Board of Commissioners carrying on the meeting with 3 their regular order of business. Motion duly made and seconded that inasmuch as the bond required of Kusy and Wright at the time of their bidding for supplying of coal for 1948-1949 was fixed at only $4000.00 which amount was insufficient according to the Act of Assembly, thwCommissionere = agree to absorb the additional premium for the additional bond required. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by III. Lowstgter, that Mrs. Natalie Davison of 129 South Wade Avenue, Washington, Pa., be appointed a member of the Washington County Housing Authority replacing Marl T. Loucks who is no longer a resident of Washington County; this ' appointment effective as of today, March 25, 1949. Motion carried. I ATTESTS 0( Chief Clerk N0. 106 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., April 11, 1949 With Commissioners Pettit and Lane present, the Commissioners of Washington County sitting as the Registration Commission adopted the following motion. Motion duly made and seconded that the Registration Office be opened Thursday i Evening, April 7, 194.9, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., to accept registrations, and perform all anther duties in connection with the Office. Motion carried, with Controller Stuart being called into the meeting to carry on the regular order of business. Motion duly made and seconded that the estimate of Monongahela Publishing Company for the printing of Fifteen Hundred (1500), 1948 County Controller Reports be accepted. The estimate is $275.00 for forty pages including cover and $36.00 additional for every four pages over forty. Motion carried.
