Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the estimate ©f G. P. Beck, Jr., Heating and ( Roofing Contractor, to coat all sections of the Court House Roof with Asphalt Composition including the gutters with hot Asphalt Roofing Coating for $787.00, as stated in his letter of March 31, 1949, be accepted, and that the work is to be started t Once. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that George Fritschle, Fight Watchman at the Fair i Grounds in the Institution District, be transferred to the Court House as plight Watchman iI replacing Mike Spridik, resigned; this change effective April 1, 1949. i Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the estimate for furnishing thirty-six (36) gross of 12 x 18 Cotton bags for use on Soldier's Graves, of A. Memaux and Son, Pittsburgh, Pa., of $684.00 be accepted; it being the lowest estimate of slat estimates ireceived by the Purchasing Agent. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED, that the sale of the northerly half of Lot No. 2, in the George N. Glass Plan, in Cecil Twp., (and advertised and assessed as Lot 1F200, in the Glass Plan) made at No. 73 August Term, 1948, A. D. to John Belleno for $260,00 and costs of $21.00, be cancelled for the reason that the said lot was never properly assessed and was sold to the County as Lot No. 200 when, in fit; no such lot ever existed; and THAT THE County Solicitor be authorised to present an order to the Court for cancellation of the said sale; and i THAT each prospective district should make a refund to John Belleno as the moneys received have been distributed by the County Treasurer on January 25, 1949, by cheek numbers (School - #1549, Road - #1548, County by Receipt #425A.)
