Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: WHEREAS, By deed dated November 10, 1943, recorded in Deed Book 67% at Page 1U6, in the Recorder's Office of Washington County, Lots Nee. 52 and 79, in the Colonial Heights Plan, South Strabane Township, were sold by the County Commissioners' at Nb. 230, November Term, 1943, A.D., as the property of Harry Zolt, and the grantee being George A. and Nevada I. Bovier, Lock Boa 126, Washington, Pennsylvania, and WHERNAS.. Lots 52, 79 were sold to Washington County on April 26, 1940, by John L. Post, County Treasurer for the 1932, 1933 and 1931+ delinquent taxes. WHEREAS, It appears that the said lots in question were assessed for the same years against C. H. Spriggs (who vas assessed with " lots) and the taxes for the said years { were actually paid by the said C. H. Spriggs; and WHEREAS, It therefore, appears that the said sale was unlawful and invalid by reason of the payment of the said taxes; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, That the said sale of the said lots be and the same is hereby declared null and, void and the Solicitor is hereby authorised and directed to petition the Court for an order revoking the sale of the said lots at No. 230, November Term, 1943, A.D. by the County of Washington; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That each Taxing District repay to George A. and Nevada I. Bavier, South Strabane Township, the purchasers of the said lots monies distributed to them from the proceeds of the sale. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Resolution pertaining to the sale of House and Lot, Elco and Speers Road, formerly owned by Herman Ranks Estate by Washington to Mr. Joseph Menyo be adopted. (See Resolution 13 of the Tax Claim Bureau Minutes.) Motion carried. There being no further business to came before tbA Board at this time, time meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: May 13, 194 . Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the Court House Offices, effective April 24, 1949, at 2 a.m., open at 8 a.m., EST, and close at 3 p.m., EST. This -time schedule to be in effect until the last Sunday of September, 1949. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Good Friday, April 1% 1949, be observed as a Legal Holiday, and that all Court House Offices are to be opened to conduct business as usuall I on Saturday Morning, April 16, 1949, from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon.
