LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS No. 109 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., April lb, 1949 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit and Lane. Motion duly wade and seconded that the Registration Office be opened Friday Evening, April 29, 1949, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., to accept registrations, and perform all other duties in connection with the Office. Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: i14 , 1949 ATTEST: 0 Chief Clerk NO. no Office of the County Commissioners Was hington, Pa., April 18, 1949 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the estimate submitted by the Russell Index Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., as per letter of March 30, 1949, for certain work to be done on Indices in the Recorder of Deeds Office, be accepted; the total cost of said work being $1004.2.15. This action was taken with the approval of the County Controller. Notion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Paul J. Pettit, Superintendent in the Bridge Department, be granted a leave of absence for thirty days without pays effective April 20, ! 1949. Motion carried. Correspondence was read from Congressman Morgan and the United Urine Workers of America, District #5, relative to the Bridge washed out over Ten Mike Creek connecting East Bethlehem Township and Clarksville Borough. After some discussion, it was decided to contact the Greene County Commissioners for a conference relative to this subject. The following action was taken with the Board of Commissioners sitting as the Registration Commission. Motion duly made and seconded that a Field Registration Day be set-up for East Pike Run Township, Second Precinct, on June 22, 1949. Motion carried.
