LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 119 r 11 NO. 114 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., May 10, 1949 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit and Lane. Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare refund voucher in favor of Leo S. Brody, 128 Bast Lincoln Street McDonald, Pa., in the amount of $77.54 representing refund of County Taxes for the years 1947 and 1948 on a difference in valuation of $5625 on real estate owned by the said Leo S. Brody, in the Borough of McDonald, such difference in valuation having been effected by a compromise settlement with the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes of the appeal filed by the said property owner to No. 449 August Term, 1947, A. D. I Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes be authorized to prepare refund voucher in favor of William and Anna Marchesky, of 187 South McDonald Street, McDonald, Pa., in the amount of $29.62, representing refund of County Taxes for the years 1947 and 1948-on a difference in valuation of $2150 on property owned by the said William and Anna Marchesky in the Borough of McDonald, such difference in valuation having been effected by a compromise settlement with the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes of the appeal filed by the said property owners to No. 450 August Term, 1947, A. D. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to cancel the tax sale of March 24, 1942, for the non-payment of 1935 and 1936 County, School and Road taxes, covering Lot #200 G. N. Glass Plan, Cecil Township, assessed in the name of Paul Pastorelli. Inasmuch, as the above is an incorrect assessment. Paul Pastorelli being the owner of the northerly one-half of Lot #2, Glass Plan, Cecil Township. The Tax Assessment Dffice and the Office of the Prothonotary and the Tax Claim Bureau are hereby directed to make the proper entry on their records. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer is hereby authorized to cancel the tax sale of June 14, 1926, for the non-payment of 1924 School and Borough, covering lot #77, C. K. Frye Plan, situate in Bentleyville Borough, assessed in the name of Tlaric Chiera, inasmuch as, this was a duplicate assessment with that of Casmo Beva. The Pro- thonotary is directed to make the proper entry in his Treasurer's Deed Book and other records, %nd the Tax Claim Bureau, is also directed to do likewise. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the Tax Claim Bureau and the County Treasurer be authorized to abate the interest on 1941 County Tax amounting to $3.51 on the property of, Damelia Micheli, c/o Marie Scatena, Fredericktown, Pa., whose property is assessed in Bast Bethlehem Township and described as Frame House, Lots 116, 117, 118, 1191, 120, North Frederick - town, Pa. This action was taken in conjunction with similar action taken by the East Bethlehem School District and the East Bethlehem Township Commissioners.
