LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 1 Highways, and the County Commissioners of Washington County, acting for and on behalf of the said County, have hereunto set their hands and official seal, pursuant to dine and legal action authorising the same by said County. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Francis Luskoskie, be hired as a Semi -Skilled laborer in the Engineering and Bridge Department, retroactive to May 16, 1949, and that dames Malie be hired as same, retroactive to May 179, 1949. Motion carried. The following action was taken with the Board of County Commissioners sitting as the Registration Commission. Motion duly made and seconded that the Registration Office be opened Thursday Evening, May 26, 1949, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., for the purpose of carrying on its regular duties in connection with Registrations. Notion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that W. W. Croner, Margaret Babish and Donald C. Hallam be appointed to the Return Board for the purpose of computing votes cast in the special Bond Issue Election being held at Midway Borough on May 24.9 1949. Motion carried.
