Notion carried.
The following action was taken with the Board of Cogmaissioners sitting as the
Registration Commission.
Notion duly made and seconded that the Registration Office be opened Wednesday
Evening, July 13, 1949, to accept registrations and to perform all other duties in connection
with the Office.
Notion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

A special meeting was held for the purpose of opening bids on Treated Lumber
to be used on various County Bridges; those attending the meeting were Chief Clerk John Bevec,
Deputy County Controller Gilbert J. Dental and Chief Engineer Harry B. Crumriz•.
In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bids were

For the furnishing and delivery of the Treated Lumber as listed below, to be
used on various County Bridges, for the County Commissioners of Washington County,'PennsTlvsxiaJ
GENTLEMEN:
I/We hereby propose to deliver the Treated Lumber as listed below, to tM.A il-
rtaad siding at Washington, Penna., freight paid, and guarantee that this material shall be
furnished in accordance with the Icifications of the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for
similar materials, all of which I/WS have carefully read,
I/We enclose a certified check for Two Hundred ($200.00) dollars as a guarantee
that we will execute the contract if it should be awarded to so/"mot. I/We will do this work at
the following prices, said prices to be in full for all labor, material, royalties, etc., and
for doing the work complete as stipulated above.
