September 28, 1949 d'iST s Chief Clerk NO. 337 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August /., 19/.9 At a joint meeting of the Boards of Commissioners of Westmoreland and Washington Counties held on August 4, 1949, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: aAAQk11TSQa WHEREAS, a joint contract was entered into with'the Pittsburgh Des -Moines Steel Company for the repairs and reconstruction of the Donora-Webster Bridge, and WH REAS, it now appears that additional work is required in connection there- with, with respect to the Webster Approach, the wing walls on the Webster Abutment, the Coner Jackets on the piers under the Webster Approach roadway, and the Concrete Sidewalk inside the Abutment, NOW, THEREFORE.. be it resolved, that the said Pittsburgh De es Steel Com- pany be authorised to place an additional new Concrete Curb on the Webster ch to the said Bridge, to make all necessary repairs to the wing walls of the Webster Abutment; to repl the concrete sidewalk inside the abutment and to make all necessary repairs to the Concrete Jackets on the piers under the Webster Approach roadway; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said additional work be done at the price bid per cubic yard for Class A Concrete as noted in Item #7 in the joint contract; said cost to be apportioned equally between the Counties of Washington and Westmoreland. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned.
