Washington, Pa., September 9, 1949
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit and Lane.
The following action was taken with, the Board of Commissioners sitting as the
County Board of Elections.
Motion duly made and seconded that the polling place in Centerville Borough,
Third Precinct, be changed from the Denbo Grade School to the Vesta #6 Barracks.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the polling place in Washington, Sixth Ward,
First Precinct, be changed from the M. B. McVay residence to the residence of Mrs. Hazel Peters,
rear 106 Catherine Avenue, Washington, Pa; rental $17.50.
Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet-
ing adjourned.

County Board of Elections.
Motion duly made and seconded that the following persons be named as Assistants
to the Official Return Board to compute the votes cast at the Primary Election held September
13, 1949:

Motion unanimously carried.

The County Commissioners sitting as the Registration Commission adopted the
following motion.
Motion duly made and seconded that the Registration Office be opened from 7 p.m.
to 10 p.m., on September 30, October 1 and October 3, 1949.
Motion carried.
