LOWSTUTER, COMM159IONERS payment. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that Geo. A. & Ruth Evans, R. D. #6, Washington, Pa., be refunded $.95 on 1949 County Tax paid at face on August 31, 191f9, on property described as Irreg. Lot 150 x 200; said payment being a duplicate payment made on August 3, 1949, at face, The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment. Motion carried. Lotion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher be made payable to the Geo. Dudash Estate, c/o Mrs. Mary Dudash, 218 Lincoln tray, Chambersburg, Pa., in the amount of $.91 'for -correction by adjustment made on property described as 6 room Fr. House and Lot #351 situati iin Washington.. 7th hard.. The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the I s refund of this correction. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the resolutions pertaining to private sale of property for unpaid County, School and Road taxes be adopted. (See Resolution Rios. 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 262 27, 28, 29 and 30 of the Tax Claim Bureau Minutes.) Motion carried. Pettit and Lane. Minute Nos. 132, 133, 134, 1351 136, 137, 138, 139, 140, 141, 1142, 343, 1", 145, 146, 147, 348 and 3J+9 were read and approved. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Frank Stanek be hired as Assis- tant Engineer in the Boiler Room for the year 1949, retroactive to September 16, 1949' and i covering the period from that date to the first Monday in January, 1950. Motion carried. Controller Stuart was called into the meeting for approval of awarding contract on County Jail Roof and for advertising. Motion duly made and seconded that G. P. Beck, Jr., be awarded the contract to repair roof of west wing over County Jail, as per his estimate in letter submitted by him, 1 1 August 22, 1949, which estimate was $1868.00. Motion carried.
