BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Washington, Pa., October 28, 1949
i Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit and Lane.
The County Commissioners sitting as the County Board of Elections took the follow�
ing action:
I Motion duly made and seconded that the Return Board for the General Election meet
at 9 a.m., Saturday morning, November 12, 1949, instead of Friday, Noon, November 11, 19490
due to the fact that November llth is a legal holiday.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that the following polling places be designated
as follows; petitions for said changes having been duly presented to the Board prior to ten
days before the Election and notices of the contemplated changes posted as required by law:
Robinson Township, 1st Precinct
From: Residence of Anna Glass
To: Residence of R. J. Glass
Rental: No change - $10.00
Motion carried.
West Finley Township, 2nd Precinct
From: Residence of Harry Waterhouse
To: Grange Hall
Rental: Same $5.00
County Controller Stuart called into the meeting.
Motion duly made and seconded that the contract entered into by the County of
Washington and the C. Edwin Hultman Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., for the repairing of dockets in
j the Recorder of Deeds Office, dated March 24, 1947, at the rate of $82.75 per volume, be
to include dockets selected from the list submitted October 28, 1949, by W. D. Smith, Recorder
of Deeds.
Motion carried. The extension of this contract has the approval of County
Controller Harvey Stuart who was present.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet-
ing adjourned.

County Board of Elections:
Motion duly made and seconded that the polling place in the Second Precinct of
South Strabane Township be changed from the residence of Harry A. Smith to a Room in the
1
