LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 1 9 5 0 NO. 169 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Fa., January 5, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. The organisation of the Board of County Commissioners, effected on the first Monday of January, 1948, continued in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Assembly of 1929, (County Code), to wits Francis E. Pettit, Chairman of the Board, W. J. Lane, Secre and the third member of the Board being Henry J. Lowstuter. First in the order of business was the confirmation of the appointment of Join Bevec, Chief Clerk to the County Commissioners, David H. Weiner, County Solicitor, and John L. Harris, Sealer of Weights and Measures for the year 1950, each of the foregoing appointments having been made the first Monday in January, 1948, for a four-year period. Notion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the following named persons be employed in the Office of the County Commissioners in the respective capacities set forth; these appointments retroactive to January 2, 19503 Genevieve Lugenski, Secretary to the Board Joseph A. DiFilippo, Voucher Clerk Alex Debreczeni, Jr., Purchasing Agent Frances Flis, Secretary to Purchasing Agent Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the following named persons be employed as Court House Employees in the respective capacities set forth; these appointments retroactive to January 2, 1950s Morgan Hoge, Building Superintendent Edward Lee, Assistant Building,Superintendent Lucian Spriggs, Electrician Russell Adams, Chief Engineer Colin Swingle, Assistant Engineer Paul Sikora, Assistant Engineer George Harris, Assistant Engineer Louis L. Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the following named persons be employed in the Bureau of Veterans' Affairs in the respective capacities set forth; these appointments being retroactive to January 2, 19501 Edward Bettinelli, Director Alex Durdines, Assistant Director Edith Guidas, Secretary Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Lame, seconded by Mr. Lowftiter,, that Georgene Morton and Patricia A. Carroll be employed as Secretaries in the Office of the Superintendent of Schools; these appointments being retroactive to January 2, 1950;► Motion carried.
