ITHE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVEDs z arch 17, 1 jATTESTs Ax-x� I Chief Clerk Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., January 13, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, these present being Messrs. rettit., Lane and Lowstuter. i The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County of a mote for One �undred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and r Odopted by said Board, to -wits i WHEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow I the sum of One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1950, and to be payable out; of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1950, now, there- fore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of.County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, - the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a tem- porary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by themij. payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 1950, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary to. ac�ss ►` ,saf •.la . e►i th:, interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a mote therefor, payable August 5, 1950, with interest from date of said mote at the rate of one (1) per cent. per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said takes the County of Wash- ington assumes and agrees to pay, said mote to be negotiated and issued as follows: I �ASHINGTON IIEION TR , Washington, Pa .... ..................................... $140,000. i Motion by Mr. Lowstuter, seconded by Mr. Lane, that Mr. Michael Crania, 525 East 3 Beau Street, Washington, Pa., be re -appointed to the Washington County Housing Authority; said tacanay being caused by the expiration of his previous term.
