COMMISSIONERS 181 J 1 1 this is a duplication in assessments with Washington County owned property; said lots having been sold in a 1920 Tax Sale in the name of F. F. Cobb to Washington County. The County Conn sinners sold these lots to Alex Statis by deed poll under date of July 24, 1936. Alex Statis being assessed with these lots from 1937 through to the present year and taxes paid by his to date. The Tax Clain Bureau, the Office of the Prothonotary, the Treasurer and. the Assessment Office are hereby directed to mark their records accordingly. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $1I.." be made payable to Lillian McClave of 120 Oak Spring Road, Canonsburg, Pa., ON property described as House and Lot and also on Occupation Tax, situated in the Second Ward of the Borough of Canonsburg; said tax being a duplicate payment of $14.44 paid on July 28, 1949. The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment. Notion carried. Notion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $1.82 be made payable to Andrew Fayish, 983 Green Street, California, Pa., on the duplicate payment of Occupation Tax paid on the same date, August 1, 1949. The Tau Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of'this duplicate payment.,, Notion carried. Notion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $45.13 be made payable to A. W. Cumin, Attorney for Union Realty Company of Washington, Pa., North Strabane Township, for duplicate payment of 1949 County Tax; said tax being paid an August 1, 19499 on the $4800 valuation by the Union Realty Company of Washington, Pa., North Strabane Township and on a $200--valuation on Lots #82 and #83 of the Union Realty Company by A. J. Nacka on August 31, 1949. The Tax Claim Bureau is authorised to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment. Notion carried.
