LOWSTUTER, LOMMISSIONERS Motion carried, with Controller Roule instructed to return the certified check to the unsuccessful bidder. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meeting adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINiJTE READ AND APPROVED: March 17, 3.950 ATTEST: 0 Chief Clerk - i . NO. 179 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., February 10, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. ! Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 62005, Section 1, from Station 0 plus 18 to Station 168 plus 51,. in Sikith and Hanover Townships,1 Washington County will not assume, liability for any property damages resulting from the constru4t- iion of the above named highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the highway, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will. the County ass=* any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underly- ing the property affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will contribute the or of Three Thousand ($3,000.00) Dollars toward the payment of property damages. - Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans i submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route j 109, Section 4, from Station 495 plus 00 to Station 769 plus 90.3 in North Franklin and South Franklin Townships, Washington County, have been examined by the County Commissioners and they agree that Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construction of the above named highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or mainten} anee of the highway, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility, Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and j underlying the property affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will comtribut the sum of Eight Thousand ($8,000.00) Dollars toward the payment of property damages. ! Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the a meeting adjourned.
