LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS NO. 187 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., March 20, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. !Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. ! The following action was taken with the Board of Commissioners sitting as the Registration Commissions ° Motion duly made and seconded that the Registration Office in the Court mouse, bel opened Friday Night, March 21+th, 1950, from 7 p.m., to 10 p.m., and Saturday Night, March 25th, j 1950, from 7 p.m., to 10 p.w.: to take registrations and carry on the regular duties. Motion carried. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, State of Pennsylvania, relative to the issue by the said County, of a note for One Hundred Thousand ($100,000.00) Dollars as a temporary loan, was presented, duly seconded and !adopted by said Board, to -wits I WHEREAS, It has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand ( 100,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1950.. and to be paya- ble out of taxes and other current revenues which have been assessed ! and are to be levied and collected by the County during the year 1950; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington, that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses of the County, the proper officials of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate a temporary loan on such terms as may be agreed upon by them, payable out of taxes which are to be levied and collected during the year 1950, and so much of said taxes as may be necessary toimpay said loan, with interest, is hereby set aside and designated for that purpose, and issue a note therefor, payable August 5, 1950, with interest from date of - said note at the rate of one (1) per cent. per annum, free of all taxes levied by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which said taxes the County of Washington assumes and agrees to pay, said note to be negotiated and issued as follows: UNIONTRUST COMPANY, Washington, Pa... ... 0 ... 0 ..... 00 ... #****.400 .......... $lOO'*OOO.00 Motion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Pettit, that Dr. Michael Duda of Donora, Pa., d to the Washington County Housing Authority replacing W.
