LOWSTUTER,, COMMISSIONERS There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet- ing adjourned. THE FOREGOING MINUTE READ AND APPROVED: August ATTEST: k ., Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., April 3, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that Dolores Shultz be temporarily employed in the Office of the Board for the Assessment and Revision of Taxes as a Clerk; this appointment being ;retroactive to April 1, 1950. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans ° submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 108, Section S-1, from Station /.64. plus 36.64 to Station 730 plus 81 in North Strabane and Cecilj Townships, Washington County, have been examined by the County Commissioners and they agree thatl Washington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the constr - lion of the above named highway as contemplated by these plans, or any damages arising out of Jamy changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of the hig way, or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility Company; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any coal or other minerals in and underlying the ;property affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will contribute the sum of ;Thirty-five hundred (3500.00) Dollars toward the payment of property damages, it being mutually lunderstood that One thousand ($1,000.00) dollars of this amount shall not be due and payable until after April lst, 1951. , Motion carried.
