Notion duly made and seconded that John Packrall, Jr.,, Property Manager in the
Tax Claim Bureau, be taken off of the payroll; this action being retroactive to April 3, 1950.
Notion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the
meeting adjourned.

Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs.
Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter.
Now-#uXr sop and seconded that the Court House Offices, effective April 30,
1950, open from 8:00 a.m., EST, to 3:00 p.m., EST; said -hours to be in effect until September
30, 1950.
Notion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to
advertise for the furnishing and installing of Brass or Bronze Eduard Rails down the middle of
each of the stairways in the Court House,
Notion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that the Purchasing Agent be authorized to pur-
chase necessary Office Equipment for the Chambers of Judge Anderson's Orphans' Court, the Pur-
chasing Agent to purchase said equipment on the basis of the best prices obtainable for the
best equipment available.
Notion carried.
Notion duly made and seconded that the bid for the furnishing and laying of the
rung in Judge Anderson's Chambers be awarded to the Weber Furniture Company of Washington, Pa.,
whose estimate is $827.00, it being the lowest of four estimates received; the others berg
that of Monahan and Lake Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., $946.00; Ross independent Oil Company,
Washington, Pa., $855.00; and, Sharp Furniture Company, Washington,,Pa., �885,00,
Notion carried.
