Motion duly made and seconded that the bid for a 1950 Chevrolet Two -Door Sedan
be awarded to the Scott Motor Company, 42 Last Maiden Street, Washington, Pa., for the amount
of $1119.00; this bid being the best of three bids received.

ing adjourned.

Motion duly made and seconded that Mary Criswell be appointed a Clerk in the Tax
Claim Bureau replacing Mary Bostion; this action being effective May 1, 1950.

Motion duly made and seconded that H. Russell Stablum be appointed,Assfstant
County Solicitor for the Tax Claim Bureau; this action being effective Mary 1, 1950.

Notion duly made and seconded that William H. Robinson be appointed Law Clerk
in the Tax Claim Bureau; this action being effective May 11, 1950.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer is hereby authorised to
cancel the Treasurer's Sales of January 22, 1940 and April 24, 1940, far the non-payment of
the 1927, 19289 1929, 1930, 1931s, 1932s, 1933 and 1934 delinquent County.. School and Road taxes,
plus sale costs, covering twc?,vacant lots Nos. 109 and 110, Monongahela Plan, Carroll Township,
assessed in the name of William T. Martin (William J. Martin), inasmuch as, the Court issued
La rule on December 14, 1942, making the title absolute to Rudolph and Elizabeth Krapek at No.
19 November Term 1942, A. D. The Tax Claim Bureau, the Office of the Prothonotary and the
Assessment Office are hereby directed to mark their records accordingly.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer is hereby directed to
cancel the Treasurer's Tax Sale of April 3, 1944., for the non-payment of the 1938 Road Tax,
plus sale cost, covering property described as 44 Acres Surftne,, adjoining A. 0. Houghland and
and assessed in the name of J. M. Post,
J. L. Hoge, Morris Township,/inasmuch as, the 1938 Road Tax was paid to Cecil Hickman, Tax
Collector for Morris Township, by Receipt No. 693, dated May 20, 1939. The Assessment Office,
the Office of the Prothonotary and the Tax Claim Bureau are hereby directed to mek their
records accordingly.

Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer!a.Sale of April 7, 1947,'
purporting to sell Lot, 359 in Monongahela Land Comparr.Plan in MononBahela.,lst Bard and
assessed to Home Owners Loan Corporation for 1941, be and is hereby declared nall and void
since that Assessment for 1941 was a duplication with the same let assessed to Marko�Todorieh
for the same year. Todorich, acquired said lot by Deed recorded in Deed Book #632 --- Page 204.
Motion carried.
Motion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $7.68 be
made payable to Leopold Lebois Estate., c/o Peoples Bank of California, California, Pa., on
property described as Lot No. 31, 4 Room Frame House, 28 Robinson, situated in the Township of
East Pike Run; said tax being a duplicate payment made by Roy and Pearl Conley on September 9,
1949, (in increased valuation from $850.00 to $1050.00, $9.98 face). The Tax Claim Bureau is
authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment.

Motion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $15.68 be
made payable to Joseph Beck, west Pike Street Extension, R. D. 1, Canonsburg, Pa., on property
described as 2 Story Frame House, Lot #122, c 1 and i co. Elm Street, situate in the Borough of
Canonsburg, 3rd Ward; said payment being a duplicate payment of the one paid on June 289 19491,
in the amount of $34.90 (net). The Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for
the refund of this duplicate payment.

described as Lot #12, Block 1, Glencove, West Pike Street Extension, situate in the Borough of
Canonsburg, 2nd Ward; said payment being a duplicate payment of the one paid on June 28, 1949,
