The following action was taken with the Board of Commissioners sitting as the
Registration Commission.

Board of County Commissioners not in special session for the purpose of opening
bids received on Bronze Hand Rails, Russell Index %ear Letter System Dockets and Sheets, Transit
Mixed Concrete and the furnishing and placing of a Surface Treatment Course on Bituminous Wear-
ing Surface on Six County Bridges; those present at the meeting being Commissioners Pettit,
Lane, Lowstuter and Controller Roule.
In accordance with the aforementioned advertisements, the following bid was
opened and read for the furnishing and erection of Bronze Hand Rails.

for the furnishing and placing of Band Railings on the stairways in the corridors of the County
Court douse at Washington, Pa., and having examined the Plans and Instructions to Bidders and
understanding the same; we do hereby propose to furnish and install these Hand Railings in
accordance with the Plans and Instructions to Bidders and at the following prices.

(Pittsburgh 1, Pa., this being the only bid received.

In accordance with the aforementioned advertisements, the following bids were
opened and read for the furnishing and delivery of One Hundred seventy cubic yards of Transit
Mixed Concrete to be used on the McConnell's Mill Bridge.

for the furnishing and delivery in the forms of approximately One Hundred and seventy (170)
cubic yards of Transit Mixed Concrete to the McConnell's Mill Bridge over Chartiers Rua, on
Chartiers Township Road No. 620, in the village of ReConnells Mills; and having examined the
attached specifications and understanding the same, we do hereby propose to furnish and deliver
this Concrete in accordance with these specifications and at the following prices.

Mixed Concrete to the McConnellis Mill Bridge over Chartiers Run, be awarded to the DONALDSON
SUPPLY & EQUIPMRgT COMPANY, of Canonsburg, Pa., for the total sum of $2267.50; this being the
lowest and best bid received.

opened and read for the furnishing and placing of a surface Treatment Course an Bituminous
Wearing surfaces of various County Bridges and for the furnishing and placing of a new Bitua-
