LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS F 1 NO. 2©2 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., June 26, 1950 The Commissioners of Washington County were called into a special meeting held in the Office of the County Commissioners at 200 p.m., Monday, June 26, 1950, for the purpose of taking action on business pertaining to the East Bethlehem Township Housing Project. for the meeting were Commissioners Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. The following action was taken: Lotion by Mr. Lane, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the County of Washington ratify and sign the Cooperation Agreement with the Washington County Rousing Authority relative to the East Bethlehem Township Housing Project. Motion unanimously carried. There being no farther business to come before the Board at this time, the meet- ing adjourned. August 7, 50 ATTEST. Chief Clerk NO. 202-A Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., dune 26, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorised to adver- tise for the furnishing and delivery of necessary Election Supplies for the General Election to be held November 7, 1950. Motion carried. Motion duly ode. and seceded that the County Controller be authorised to adver- tise for the furnishing and delivery of Coal for use in the Court House and Jail for the Season of 1950-1951. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commissioners of Washington County that the plans submitted by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for the changing of State Highway Route 115-Sections 3 and l+; between stations 558 plus 85.55 and 889 plus 52.70 in Mt. Pleasant and Smith Townships, Washington County, have been examined and the Commissioners agree that Wash- ington County will not assume liability for any property damages resulting from the construct- ion of the above named highway as contemplated by these plans; or any damages arising out of any changes or alteration of drainage resulting from the construction or maintenance of this highway; or any damages resulting to any property or holdings of any Public Utility C ; nor will the County assume any damages resulting to any Coal or other minerals in and underly- ing the property affected by this improvement; but that Washington County will contribute the sm of Six thousand ($6,000.00) Dollars toward the payment of propertydamages; it being mutu- ally understood that this money shall not be due and payable until after the first day of JuIr, 1951.
