In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller, inviting proposals for furnishing coal to heat the Court House and County Jail at Washington, Pennsylvania, and hay ing examined the attached specifications and understanding the same, I (or We) submit the foll- owing bids: $_ 5.60 per ton including delivery 5.00 per ton without delivery Certified check in the amount of $500.00 is herewith enclosed. Notion by C sioner.Lowstuter, seconded by Commissitner Lane, that the Coal Contract for the 1950-1951 season for furnishing and delivering coal to the Carat House and Jail as per specifications attached to the submitted bid, be awarded to Horton Wright and Mhos Ruzy, Washington, Pa., bidding jointly, the bid being $5.60 per ton including delivery and $5., per ton without delivery; this bid being the lowest bid submitted by a responsible bidder. There being no farther business to come before the Board at this time, the meet- Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., July 24, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit and Lane. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to adver- tise for a Double -Faced Docket Case with the capacity of Ninety-eight (") shelves for use in the Office of the Prothonotary at the Court House, Washington, Pa. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Controller be authorized to adver- tise for a 1950 CNC Suburban Station Wagon or simixar type, for use in the Office of the Sealer of Weights and Measures; said bids to show trade-in allowance for a 1941 Chevrolet Carry -all
