LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS _ R E S© L U T 1 0 N S, the Secretary of the Army has allotted funds for a Flood Control on i Pike Run and Gorby Run at Granville, this County, and WFIEREAS, Section three (3) of the Flood Control Act of dune 22, 1936, as amended, requires certain assurances and cooperation from the County of Washington as set forth in said Act, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Washington pledges such coop-1 eration as may be required or necessary to carry out the said project, and be it further resole d, that the County of Washington execute assurances to the Secretary of the Army that it will: i i (a) Provide without cost to the United States all lands, easements and rights -of -fir necessary for the construction of the 9 project for flood control on Pike Rum and its tributary, Gorby Run, I i at Granville, Washington County, Pennsylvania; (b) Hold and save the United States free from damages due to the construction works; and (c) Maintain and operate all the works after completion in accordance with regulations prescribed by the Secretary of the Army. I Motion carried. There being no further business to come before the Board at this time, the meet-° ing adjourned. September A4 1950 1ATTEST: NO. 21.3 Chief Clerk Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa., August 1I., 1950 Board of County Commissioners met in special session for the purpose of opening bids received on a Double Faced Docket Case for use in the Prothonotary's Office and also a 1950 (GMC TRUCK), Suburban, Model FC-101 or other similar type. LOWSTUTER, COMMISSIONERS 1 In accordance with the aforementioned advertisement, the following bid was received on the Double Faced Docket Case: TO:: Commissioners of Washington County Washington, Pennsylvania In accordance with the advertisement of the County Controller inviting proposals for furnishing and installing one double faced Docket Case with continuous linoleum top for use in the Prothonotary's Office containing the following specifications: 1. The double faced case shall contain space for 98 dockets, 49 dockets on each side. 2. Shelves shall be of roller type with bronze rollers. 3. The dimension of the shelves shall be 19 3/16n x 4 V4ft x 13 1/28 and each shelf shall be adjustable. 4. Each side shall (of the case) contain seven sections with room for seven dockets in each section. 5. The top shall contain a continuous green linoleum with bronze trim. 6. Bach end of the case shall be of metal finish. 7. The color of the case shall be olive green with bronze trimmings. 8. All shelves to be adjustable 1/2N on center, *More detailed plan may be viewed in the Office of the Chief Clerk. Having viewed the specifications and understanding the same, I (or We) propose to furnish and install said Docket Case for the sum of: A certified check in the amount of $300.00 is herewith enclosed, MONONGAHELA PUBLISHING CO., INC. Robinson, General Manager Motion by Mr. Pettit, seconded by Mr. Lowstuter, that the bid received on the Double Faced Docket Case from the Monongahela Publishing Company, Monongahela, Pa., be tabled until further notice. Motion carried.
