LOWSTUTER. CoMMISSiONERS 225 r1 I I NO. 215 Office of the Gouty Camissioners Washington, Pa., August 25, 1950 Board of County Commissioners in regular session, those present being Messrs. Pettit, Lane and Lowstuter. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer's Sale of May 7, 1947, purporting to sell Lot #24 in Chartiers Township and assessed to Caroline Johnson for 19/,1., be and is hereby declared null and void for 1941, as this sale was based on an invalid assessment. The Tax Claim Bureau, the Office of the Prothonotary and the Tax Assessment Office are hereby directed to mark their records accordingly. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the County Treasurer is hereby authorised to cancel the Treasurer's Tax Sale of April. 25, 1940, for non-payment of 1934 County, School and Road Taxes, covering 3 lots 169-170.171, adj. Lockview Terrace, Faliowfield Township, assessed in the name Jacob Boustin inasmuch as, this is a duplication In assessment with that of Peter Fecsen, the rightful owner (See Minute , Board of Assessment and Revision of Taxes dated June 2, 1950). The Tax Claim Bureau, the Assessment Office and the Office of the Prothonotary are hereby directed to mark their records accordingly. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $4.16 be made payable to August Arrigo of 407 Tenth Street, Charleroi, Pa., on property described as 1/2 Lots 3, 4, 5 Mapleview Plan and situate in the Borough of Speers. In the original state- ment sent out for this property, his net amount of taxes was $11.29 which he paid on duly 6, 1950, however a tax adjustment was received some time later and sent to him where the valuation was lowered to $750. which caused the difference in the amount of tax. The face at present is $7.13, therefore, the Tax Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this duplicate payment. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that a refund voucher in the amount of $1.36 be made payable to Robert W. Calligan, Fourth Street. Extension, R. D. #1, Monongahela, Pa., on property described as NR, Lot 16, Clearview Terrace, 13 D.B. 743-110, and situate in Carroll Township. In typing the 1950 tax statement the typist addressed Robert N. Calligan's notice to Nora L. Calligan, 4th Street, R. D. #1, Monongahela, Pa., tax net amount being $4.07. Mr. Calligan owns lot #16 in Clearview Terrace Plan and the net amount of his tax being $2.71; they fore, the Tag Claim Bureau is authorized to prepare said voucher for the refund of this ov i , msixt payment. Motion carried. Motion duly made and seconded that the following Resolution be adopted:
