The Washington County Prison Board Meeting was held at the Washington County Correctional Facility,
Cherry Way, Washington, Pennsylvania, with the following members being present: Commissioners Larry Maggi,

0 Bracken Burns, Diana L. Irey; Controller Michael Namie; Sheriff Sam Romano. Absent being: District Attorney

Steve Toprani. Also being present: Warden Joe Pelzer; Lynn DeHaven, Solicitor; Scott Fergus, Director of
Administration; Linda Belcher, Administrative Assistant; Mary Helicke, Chief Clerk; Chuck Nicholls, Director of
. Human Resources; JoAnn Metz and Joy Sprowls, Commissioners' Office; Barbara Miller, Observer -Reporter, and Jim
Jefferson, WJPA.
Chairman Maggi called the meeting to order at approximately 11:40 a.m. and entertained a motion to approve
Minute No. 11-P-09.
Moved by Ms. Irey, seconded by Mr. Namie, approving Minute No. 11-P-09 as written. Motion carried
unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".

WARDEN'S REPORT
Warden Pelzer presented the following information to the Board:
Income from other units for the maintenance of prisoners for November 2009
Administration Fee $2,940.47
Social Security 1,200.00
Monthly Sub Total $4,140.47
Year to date GRAND TOTAL $50,203.32

Moved by Ms. Irey, seconded by Mr. Namie, accepting the Warden's Report as per above. Motion
carri d unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye".
Controller Namie presented to the Board for their consideration and approval the bills for the
moat of November 2009 in the amount of $64,077.59.
Moved by Mr. Namie, seconded by Ms. Irey, approving the bills for the month of November 2009. Motion
carri d unanimously by the Board signifying their approval by stating "Aye". (See list of bills attached hereto and
made a part hereof.)

At this time an executive session was called to discuss a litigation matter.
Meeting reconvened.
None
There being no further business, Chairman Maggi declared the meeting adjourned at approximately
11:55 a.m.
